Boustrophedon Drawing
The first step of this process is to scribble line, working diagonally from the top left to bottom right. Then I divided my paper into three areas. Those areas became my dark, mid, and light toned areas.
My initial concept was to create a collage-like piece of random doodles based off of the shapes in the scribbles. This would've resulted in something that wasn't cohesive enough for me.
Tentacles became the piece that would tie the work together. But, what are tentacles without an octopus?
